I have been very happy with their service. Many similar companies now route their calls to India. You always get a local person on the phone. Their prices have been competitive each time I’ve checked. In 7 years I had one time where I was close to running low but that was due to my change in use on their auto-fill program almost doubling my typical use and they were there within hours to refill it. Overall this is a top notch company. I highly recommend them.

I am a new customer as of today 11/7/2025. I must say the team at the Hickory and Marion offices have treated me as a valued customer. From the initial visit from Michael who answered any of my questions and concerns and explained what to expect to the absolute best customer service with Kinley who kept me informed from start to finish to Dennis the installation guy who made sure he got (2) 120 gallon tanks set at my residence and (1) 120 gallon tank set at our dog kennel facility. He got the job done in the same day and made two trips from the Hickory office to my location in Marion. Kinley, Michael and Dennis were all very professional, courteous and made every effort to provide propane service to us in a very timely manner. Yes I certainly would recommend James Oxygen Supply from the Hickory and Marion Offices.

We just had a propane tank set up and the set up and installation was done very professionally by two very friendly gentlemen named Danny and David (I believe). So far so good.

Horribly mismanaged company

I have been a customer with this company for about 20 years never had a problem until recently. I'm having a generator installed at my house and need a bigger tank. Called the company they came out and suggested where said tank should go and to call back when ready for install (tank has to be in before generator install) have called four times to try to finalize where I want the tank and to have it installed and cannot get a return call from Mike Hartley. So I'm beginning to think I am not wanted as a customer.
